Degree of Freedom participated as consulting engineers supporting the design team for the timber design aspects of this new singular kindergarten building in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The building, though modest in shape from the outside, offers higher than usual levels of quality inside for its young clients. Roof terraces, high ceilings, intricate glulam details, visible CLT walls and CLT rib slabs all contribute to making this space equally playful and beautiful. The high attention to details results in an indoor environment that is healthy in all aspects.
